About Us

Richmond Nomads is a small frendly cricket club playing over 20 fixtures across Surrey, North Hampshire and Berkshire every summer.

The Nomads was created in 1946 and for many years played fixtures on Richmond Green based at the Princes Head.

Nowadays, being a Nomad side we have no ground of our own, but play many of our fixtures at NPL Teddington, an excellent facility on the edge of Bushy Park.

Richmond Nomads has a wide membership base, which includes some very talented players. We adapt the strength of side we field according to the standard of opposition. We aim to win, but above all else, value the spirit of cricket, encourage participation and always play with a sporting, friendly ethos.

Looking to play?

If you fancy a game or are looking to join a new club, whether as a player or non-player, give us a try. We are a predominant friendly and social club with something of a cicketing habit.

The best way to get involved is to come down to one of our fixtures or socials and talk to us. Alternatively, contact our captain Nigel Swain via email: [email protected] or talk to us on Facebook or Twitter.

Have a gap in your fixture calendar?

If you're a club looking for a sociable team to fill a gap in your fixture list or if there's a gap in our fixture list and your opposition has pulled out at the last minute, give us a call via our captain or via social media using the details above.
