70th Anniversary Tour!

This year is the 70th anniversary of the formation of Richmond Nomads Cricket Club and to celebrate the feat, a tour to Somerset has been arranged for August which will involve two games of cricket, a couple of nights in a top notch* boutique hotel and general merriment.

Accommodation has been booked at a hotel in Langport on a bed and breakfast basis with shared rooms for 17th,18th and 19th August. Everybody will be expected to make their own way there but local transport will be organized from the hotel to the two venues.

The club has undertaken many cricket tours through the years that have always been a great success on and off the field. The last tour was in 2007 to Tallin in Estonia and was enjoyed by everyone who attended. We strongly expect the 2016 tour will be just as good.

If any previous Nomads fancy a game or just want to tour (Winkle, Monica, Papa) you would be most welcome and an asset to the team so please commit to the tour. Also, any of those now retired Nomads (Colin, Jim, Jeremy, Dave etc) who fancy a game, get those whites dusted off and come along.

It is now getting critical for confirming numbers/deposits for the tour as Brian needs to confirm numbers and rooms to the Hotel in the next week, so please email Steve ([email protected]) as soon as possible to book your place in Nomadic lore.

A payment of a £50 deposit per person to be paid to Richmond Nomads CC (BACS preferred or alternatively a cheque) as soon as possible.
